District Announces Scholarship to GCFP Annual Convention

District I announces a scholarship to the 2009 GCFP Annual Convention, April 19-22, 2009, Bedford Springs Resort, Bedford, PA ( http://www.bedfordspringsresort.com/ ). Any active garden club member who has never attended a GCFP convention is eligible to apply. The scholarship will cover the full cost of the convention and the winner is responsible for the cost of lodging. Convention attendees receive a special room rate at the resort. The cost of the convention includes most meals and workshops. Club presidents will nominate one member by January 31, 2009. The winner will be drawn from all the applicants in February.
