Be among the first to visit and experience this stunning home situated on 50 acres of the former King Ranch, overlooking the Laurels Preserve. This holiday tea will feature sweet and savory treats served in the traditional English style.

Spade and Trowel will also present an inspiring collection of “must have’s” from local artists, craftsmen and charming shops for your early holiday gift shopping.

·         Historic Preservation: Barns Brinton House kitchen garden
·         Kennett Square street barrel planting
·         Holiday Greens Workshop for Heartland Hospice Services
·         YMCA Montessori School, Head Start annual projects
·         Roadside Beautification—entrance to Kennett Square from Longwood side
·          Donations to Anson B. Nixon Park, Community Gardens of Chester County


 

District General Board Meeting

The Fall 2012 meeting of the district board, club presidents, vice-presidents and guests will be held November 6th at 10AM at the 1756 Uwchlan Meeting House, 5 N. Village Avenue, Lionville, PA. Our speaker will be Adam Levine, historical consultant to Philadelphia Water Department and he will be speaking about the fascinating history of Philadelphia's many lost streams.  He will also offer his books on the history of the Philadelphia Flower Show for sale.  
 

The Garden Class of WCCU
